太宰府参道 天山 最中・団子の食べ歩き
There are a number of shops along the side of the road on the way to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.
Our main product is Onigawara Monaka (sweet bean jam sandwiched between mochi wafers).
We are very particular about our ingredients, including red beans and wafers, and carefully make each product by hand.
We also offer Japanese sweets using Amaou strawberries (seasonal only) and chestnuts (seasonal only), which are specialties of Fukuoka Prefecture. You can eat sweets while walking along the streets.
Our bean paste is made of red beans produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido Prefecture. We put a lot of time and effort into carefully making it by hand in our own factory.
The wafers are made of 100% glutinous rice only.
It doesn’t stick in your mouth because it doesn’t contain any unnecessary materials.
It is safe and trusted enough to use as baby food.
Japan’s most highly regarded Amaou strawberries are used. We choose DX (deluxe) quality, due to its special sweetness and sheer size from Fukuoka Prefecture.
The TENZAN shop is located to the immediate right of the first torii gate on the way to Tenmangu Shrine from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.
Many reviews on various sites (only available in Japanese).
